intermach-ROMI-gl-300m

Romi, the Brazilian leader in the machinery and equipment industry, will present at its booth at Intermach the New Generation of Turning Centers of ROMI GL Line and Machining Centers of ROMI D Line, suitable to serve the most diverse segments as they are extremely versatile.

“The launches places Romi at a different level, providing high technology and significant gains in productivity for the industry,” says Luiz Cassiano Rando Rosolen, CEO of the company.

The ROMI D Line is extremely robust, with a larger work area, as well as ensuring accuracy, high performance and productivity, with  four models: ROMI D 600, ROMI D 800, ROMI D 1000 and ROMI D 1250. The models feature Direct Drive Head (engine coupled directly to the cartridge), with versions of 10,000 or 15,000 rpm and with spindle supported on high precision rolling bearings. They are also equipped with the CNC Fanuc Oi-MF i-HMI, which allows the user to access the main functions of the equipment with just two clicks, in addition to a greater processing capacity and memory.

The turning centers of ROMI GL Line are flexible and versatile, equipped with a main head with a built-in type engine, which guarantees excellent power level, high torque and thermal stability.  Its rugged, cast monobloc bar design is ideal for machinings that require high power and torque, ensuring high performance and more precision. With the thermal compensation system, it is possible to obtain stable dimensional results even with temperature variations during long working periods. The models offer an advance speed of 30m/min on the X and Z axes.

In the line of machines for plastic, it will be exposed the Line of Injectors ROMI EN modern equipment that counts on with the system “Stop and Go” that provides greater speed, high precision and low energy consumption. ROMI EN injectors range from clean applications, such as food packaging and the medical-pharmaceutical industry, to technical applications such as the automotive segment.

According to Douglas Pedro de Alcântara, Product Development Manager at Romi, the news that will be presented reflects the needs of the new phase of the Brazilian industry. “We do not just want to provide machines for the industry, we want to provide productivity gains and generate returns for our customers. Romi invests in research and development so that the machines are increasingly suitable for the demand for technology and automation”, he states.
